He studied music performance with saxophone at Bowling Green State University and University of Missouri–Kansas City, before specialising in music improvisation at the Music Academy in Basel and digital media at the University of the Arts Bremen. His works investigate psychological and perceptual phenomena through immersive experiences, examining how sensory systems interact and reconstruct unique perceptions of time, space, and presence. Driven by a broad curiosity, his output ranges across disciplines and practices. Notable projects include his improvisation machine Aiii (since 2021); multimedia instrument Type-0《零式》 _(since 2024); system/light design and projection mapping for Paul Taro Schmidt’s immersive opera MUGEN (Immersive Arts Space Zurich, 2024); and sound design and spatialization for Sangbong Lee’s installation project Space Odradek (ZER01NE DAY 2025, Seoul). In 2025, he developed the immersive exhibition Bridging ACTs with counselling psychologist and researcher Dr. Adrian Tong, exploring the integration of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) into artistic experience. This led to the publication of their research article “Beyond Words: A Reflexive Thematic Analysis of ACT in Immersive Art Experiences for Cultural Minorities in Germany” in the International Review of Psychiatry (2026).
